wolvie speed paint

hey kids!  here's an old school wolverine.  still like this costume more than any other.  anyways, decided to do a speed painting video since i haven't done one in a while.  when i started i just jestered some random poses, not knowing it would turn out to be wolverine.  when i got to the point where i had to decide who i was drawing, i was like, "okay, lets do someone you haven't done before" and that turned into, "fuck it, wolverine it is".  anyways, here's the vid below:

dumb little animation

so i found this free animation program that basically sucks.  a lot of features i wanted/needed were missing. but that doesn't excuse this turd of an animation.  kudos to all hand-drawn animators out there, after about 5 frames i was done!

red headed moonlight

holy hair batman!  ah, yes.  well, i discovered a neat little trick built into apples quicktime software that lets you record the screen and whatever you do on it.  sweet!  had to try it with a drawing using my new tabby (that's what i call her now) so did a super quick, unthoughtout, really pretty generic drawing.  cool thing is though, is that there's no hands in the way, and everything is in focus and lit well for your viewing pleasure.  if you're into that 13-minute-long-watch-someone-draw sorta thing.  check check check it out:

totally rad nod

today, as most days, i watched this internet show called the totally rad show.  three 'rad dudes' talk about and review movies, tv, comics, video games and also have random episodes of general tomfoolery.  every week they feature a user submitted background for the entire week.  guess who got on the show?



anyways, i wasn't entirely pleased with it and a little embarrassed to be honest.  it was a while back, all i really did was draw some superheroes and not all that well, either.  so, today i took some time and sent them a proper background to use in the future if they so choose:

anywho, it's a fun show and i encourage you all to try it out for a week, each day they do something different and it's usually pretty funny.

A Quick Figure

Here's an experiment. I've always wanted to do this...
My camera is limited to 30 minutes of recording, so I really scribbled this one out. I had the Hulk in mind, but forgot his pants, so... whatevs. My battery actually died right there at the end so i scanned it for that final shot. I hope Animal Collective isn't too upset I used their magical song "Sweet Road". Enjoy.
